Marvel's Avengers for PlayStation 5

Marvel's Avengers is an epic, third-person, action-adventure game that combines an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay. This character-driven story celebrates authentic Marvel heroism and humanity in a cinematic campaign filled with single-player and co-op missions. Players can take the essential Super Hero gaming experience to another level, with a free upgrade available for Marvel's Avengers owners for next-gen consoles at no extra cost.

These next-gen versions will boast a wide spectrum of improvements to visuals and speed, and will be backwards compatible in single and multiplayer. Marvel's Avengers has a beautiful world filled with exquisite detail, and with improved Heroics, destruction, graphical fidelity, and framerate versus previous gen, players won't be missing any of it. Players can get right into the action with fast loading times and be blown away by the striking detail of enhanced destructive visuals that make Heroics feel truly in their hands.

Marvel's Avengers will support save file transfer and cross-gen play, allowing players to pick up right where they left off and continue fighting AIM with their favourite Super Hero squad. Owners of Marvel's Avengers on PS4 can upgrade to the PS5 version of the game at no additional cost on March 18th 2021, and players can also enjoy cross-gen play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

The game includes a one-time online access requirement for the single-player campaign, and online access is required for multiplayer and to download post-launch content. A free Square Enix Members account is required, and a platform-specific online subscription fee may be required. Credits that players purchase are useable on the PS5 Console version of Marvel's Avengers, and the wallet will be shared across both platforms.

In addition to the core game, Marvel's Avengers now includes the following additional free content: Taking AIM featuring Kate Bishop, and Future Imperfect featuring Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye. This unique take on these iconic Super Heroes, including Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor, allows players to unlock powerful skills and new gear to build their ideal version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

When combined with original, fan-favorite, and classic outfits, there are nearly limitless ways to customize these iconic Heroes. Up to four players can assemble online to defend the Earth from escalating threats, and the narrative will be delivered over multiple years, with no random loot boxes or pay-to-win scenarios. Every new Super Hero and region will be delivered to players at no additional cost if they own the core game.
